AC Service Technician/Installer

Responsibilities:

The air conditioning service technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing split and central air conditioners, ranging form 12000 btu to 15 ton units, as well as Chillers, Freezers and Reefer Units.

AC Service Technician/Installer Requirements

The air conditioning service technician/installer must be able to:

• work in places where you can be exposed to dust, fumes, noise, toxic materials and high voltage equipment.
• confined and hot spaces like roofs, crawl ways and attics.
• The air conditioning service technician may be required to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, kneel or stand for long stretches of time.

AC Service Technician/Installer Knowledge & Experience

• Experience in air conditioning service and installation preferred.
• Knowledge of principles of air-conditioning unit repair and maintenance, including controls, MSDS sheets, safety practices and procedures and tools used.
• NESC or City And Guilds Certificate in Air Condition and Refrigeration or Equivalent
