Accounts Clerk

Overview

The Accounts Clerk is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations. The Accounts Clerk must comply with established policies and procedures.


What You Will Do

  1. Prepares batches of invoices for data entry.
  2. Accurately enters data and invoices for payment.
  3. Accurately records all cheques in a timely manner.
  4. Prepares manual cheques as and when required.
  5. Maintains updated vendor files and file numbers.
  6. Performs general data entry
  7. Exercises confidentiality concerning financial and employee files.
  8. Balance all Sales; Cash, Debit, Credit transactions.
  9. Follow established procedures for processing daily sales reports
  10. Communicating with customers via phone, email, mail or personally
  11. Processing Monthly & Weekly Payroll
  12. Keeping employee information filed and updated
  13. prepare journal entries
  14. complete general ledger operations
  15. reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
  16. prepare analysis of accounts as requested
  17. assist with year-end closings
  18. administer accounts receivable and accounts payable
  19. assist with payroll administration
  20. monitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences
  21. account/bank reconciliations and bank balances
  22. review and process expense reports
  23. assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process
  24. assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
  25. preparation of outgoing wire transfers
  26. preparation of VAT, NIS, BIR and other statutory payments
  27. monitoring and ordering of stationery
  28. Any other duties, as assigned
