The Assistant Sales Manager plays a key role in the success or failure of an organization. His/her role is pivotal in achieving the sales targets which eventually generates revenue for the organization. His/her key responsibility is to assist the Sales Manager with all sales activities of the Business Unit and to ensure that the sales team is supervised.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for meeting the sales targets of the Business Unit through effective planning and budgeting.
Assist in setting the targets for the sales representatives ensuring that the targets are realistic and achievable.
Responsible for devising strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the sales targets and decides the future course of action for the team.
It is the sales coordinator’s duty to map potential customers and generate leads for the Business Unit.
Responsible for brand promotion.
Responsible for not only selling but also maintaining and improving relationships with the client base.
Responsible for maintaining necessary sales data and records for future reference.
Monitor, analyze and take accountability for performance affecting improvements in sales/revenue growth, sales productivity, sales quality and optimization of customer satisfaction.
