Business Development Officer

Overview

The Business Development Officer is responsible for researching and developing marketing
opportunities, and planning and implementing sales plans. The successful candidate must
be a self-motivated individual that owns ultimate responsibility for effectively meeting and
exceeding sales goals. The BDO must be creative, charismatic, knowledgeable, and
exceptionally well-versed in the latest sales and marketing techniques as well as tried-and-
true practices.


What You Will Do

  1. Present an overall sales and marketing plan
  2. Continually assess our marketing techniques and their efficiency in affecting sales
  3. Stay on top of the latest market trends and shifts, as well as projections for the future
  4. Prepare a budget to meet marketing and sales financial goals
  5. Research and implement a plan for the sales of retail items (car care related or
    otherwise) that can be sold both on location and via an online storefront

  7. Analyse and Manage company social media presence.
  8. Standardize signage at all locations.
  9. Manage company loyalty program and use data to identify customer buying trends.
  10. Analyse and report on customer feedback survey and provide recommendations on
    how we can improve on customer satisfaction.
  11. Enhance the public perception and image of the Coops brand.
  12. Manage customer damages and complaints.
  13. Oversee the design and publication of advert materials to ensure the right message is
    passed to the target market.
