COLD STORAGE LIFT OPERATOR

Job brief

We are looking for a responsible cold storage lift operator

A cold storage forklift operator’s job is to use a forklift and other equipment to move materials and products in a cold storage warehouse:

• Loading and unloading: Load and unload products from and onto trucks, rail cars, and cargo ships
• Stacking and unstacking: Stack and unstack pallets, crates, lumber, and other materials
• Inspecting: Inspect pallets and cases for damage, proper quantities, and lot codes
• Maintaining inventory: Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts, and ensure proper stock rotation
• Maintaining work area: Keep the work area clean, neat, and orderly

Requirements and skills

• Proven working experience as a lift operator
• Valid lift operator license
• Experience working in cold storage
• Able to work on shift
• Able to multitask
