Commercial Manager (St. Lucia)


Purpose and Objective

Lead and direct the Commercial Team to achieve strategic business objective by developing, monitoring and refining business processes and ensuring Team compliance with established policies and procedures. Responsible for all Sales, Marketing and Distribution activities within the Company and ensuring sales growth is maximized each year according to set targets, goals and objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Manage and exceed annual sales target within assigned territories, channels and customer accounts
  2. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
  3. Report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
  4. Prepare RE Sales Forecasts and RE OPEX
  5. Formulation and implementation of interventions to deliver sustained performance in terms of securing new customers and new business opportunities in both local and foreign markets.
  6. Manage the Distribution Team to ensure all activities result in a 24 hour delivery service to customers.
  7. Determine sales volumes and revenue plans by implementing marketing strategies and analyzing trends.
  8. Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing sales plans for channels and territories; projecting expected sales volumes and profit for existing and new products.
  9. Maintain sales volume, product mix and competitive selling prices by keeping abreast with current supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.
  10. Manage the Commercial Teams performance by counseling, mentoring, coaching,  monitoring results and provide feedback to improve results.
