An established manufacturing company in the east is seeking to employ a passionate sales person, knowledgeable in the construction industry to assist in the sales and development of a newly created recycled product and promote it to the local market.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Construction Sales and Development Personnel will be responsible for all daily activity related to the new product. This will include, but not be limited to the following:

  1. Regularly developing techniques and strategies to enhance and promote sales and development
  2. Managing all clients both old and new as well as continuously increasing the company’s client list by searching for new markets locally and regionally.
  3. Daily updates of production records and data
  4. Coordinating with the necessary agencies and government establishments for timely feedback and development of the product
  5. Preparing presentations and documentation to introduce to clients, engineers and establishments
  6. Ensuring that all product development are carried out within the construction guidelines and regulations
  7. Managing all social media relations that are related to the product
  8. Reading and interpreting blue prints, architectural drawings, deigns and other engineering drawings
  9. Carry out site visits and perform minor project management duties

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  1. Passionate about sales and development
  2. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications
  3. Versed in all social media applications
  4. Excellent communication and analytical skills
  5. Troubleshooting skills
  6. Team player with leadership skills and qualities
  7. Readily available to work extended hours, weekend and holidays (excellent punctuality and attendance)
  8. High level of professionalism and integrity
  9. Positive attitude
  10. Proficient planning and organizing skills will be an asset
  11. A background in construction and sales
  12. Access to a reliable vehicle or valid driver’s license will be an asset
