Facilitate the efficient movement of finished goods and supplies on behalf of the company coming in and going our of Trinidad. Ensuring compliance with all Laws, Regulations and documentation procedures. Arrange for all necessary transportation and delivery to be made n time, informing customers of the location of thier shipments at all times.

What You Will Do

1. Overall Shipment Coordination which includes notifications to internal and external suppliers and customers on import and expert restrictions, tariff systems, insurance requirements, special licenses and other customs related matters.
2. Import Coordination – execute customs clearance procedures for imports, arrange pick up by haulers. Maintain records regarding the movement of freight and containers. Correctly classify items using Harmonized Code and calculate duty and Tariff payments owed on shipments.
3. Export Coordination – Prepare Bills of Lading, invoices and other shipping documents as required. Arrange for overseas shipment of products and ensure that insurance export licenses are in order.
4. Regulatory Compliance – Maintain database of all permits, agreements and legal notices as applicable to company business. Coordinate with regulatory agencies where applicable to seek approvals for Certificates of Origin.
5. People Management – Supervise, coach and train the Customs Team to  ensure performance standards are maintained.
