D-FLTS- Dedicated Frontline Technical Support

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comprehend and describe the features and benefits of lubricant products available to customers.
• Determine the appropriate application of different lubricant products to various customer situations involving vehicles, machinery, and/or equipment.
• Know local legislative requirements regarding health, safety, security, and environmental and product disposal guidelines.
• Recommend the appropriate lubricants products for each customer’s specific application.
• Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving tasks related to lubricants, including making recommendations for solutions with the respective lubricant products.
• Conduct individual customer visits to perform plant and equipment audits, conduct lubrication surveys, and create technical proposals to recommend Shell product solutions to customers.
• Advise customers on health, safety, security, and environmental and product disposal guidelines.
• Fully adhere to Company’s Health, Safety, Security and Environment rules and general business principles.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BSc Chemical & Process Engineering or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
• At least three (3) years Technical & Analytical Experience.
• Lubricants experience will be an asset
• Computer Literate: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
• Must possess good communications and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must own a reliable working vehicle

An acceptable combination of academic qualifications and work experience may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.
