DELIVERY DRIVER/ WAREHOUSE PERSONNEL
Job Summary
The Delivery Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of the Company’s goods to customers and will be required to provide assistance in conducting inventory within the Warehouse.
Main Responsibilities:
• To provide support and assistance to the Warehouse Manager.
• Ensure all deliveries are done in a timely manner.
• To pick, load and unload items from the company vehicle.
• Stack goods properly to ensure it is secured within the vehicle to avoid damages.
• Maintain and handle documentation regarding the distribution of all items.
• Obtain delivery confirmation from each customer.
• Map out the fastest route to the desired destination each day.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
• Collect payments for or on behalf of the company.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the Dispatching Coordinator to report issues and to resolve discrepancies throughout the day.
• Complete all logs and reports daily.
• Adhere to the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain, operate and upkeep the company vehicle in accordance to WSCL’s Motor Vehicle Policy.
• Perform any other duty as required by your Manager and/or Supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
• A minimum of three (3) CXC passes
• Must have a valid driver’s permit
• At least five years’ experience driving either class 4 or 5 vehicle
• Must be twenty-five (25) years or older
• Knowledge of warehouse techniques and procedures such as stock rotation and inventory control
• Forklift Operating License
• A certificate of good character
