CEDI Holdings Limited (trading as Digiwireless) is a part of the Rahamut Group of Companies and have been operating as a Digicel Authorized Dealer for 14 years. We are a dynamic, fast paced, sales company that operate 13 Retail Digicel Authorized Dealer locations across Trinidad. We are looking for talent that wants to be a part of a thriving sales team as a Direct Sales Operations Team Leader I.

 

The Direct Sales Operations Team Leader will be in charge of managing the direct sales team to meet planned sales goals through house to house visits and other sales channels of the Company. You are responsible for ensuring that assigned sales targets are met and the daily operations of the business runs effectively and efficiently in accordance with the approved policies and procedures of both CEDI Holdings Limited and Digicel Trinidad and Tobago.

 

Leadership

  • Motivates team members and foster a cooperative, positive work environment with an open communication culture.
  • Provide feedback, support and coaching to the team geared towards to achieving company goals and objectives.

 

Sales & Performance

  • Achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets assigned through house to house visits
  • Daily huddles and coordination with agents on a daily basis to communicate meeting points and walk routes
  • Ensuring that the team meets and exceeds set company targets, communicate and monitoring clear team actions
  • Performance management of the assigned teams
  • Track and report sales results daily, weekly and monthly to management
  • Manages the sales processes and adherence to same across assigned channels
  • Works alongside the Sales & Marketing Manager in formulating Promotions, Strategies and Marketing initiatives for national campaigns and localized promotions across the regions
  • Seek out opportunities and strategic partnerships for set ups within various regions
  • Collates and communicates market intelligence and information that will assist CEDI in product selection, positioning and pricing.

 

Supervisory

  • Ensuring that all duties are performed in accordance with the set processes and policies of the Company
  • Works with the management team to map out walk routes weekly
  • Ensure that all agents submit daily reconciliation and reports in a timely manner
  • Weekly quality assurance assessments with each agent via side by side observation during a sale
  • Manages the overall daily operation of the team highlighting red flag issues and recommendations to management

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum degree in Business Management or Marketing
  • Minimum two (2) years experience leading a team in a sales environment
  • Experience in and with the mobile telecommunications sector would be considered a valuable asset.
  • An acceptable combination of academic qualifications and work experience may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements
  • General knowledge of industrial relations principles (a plus)

Specific Skills/ Experience and/or Knowledge.

  • Track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to manage a team and to perform as a team
  • Has a valid drivers permit and driving experience for more than 3 years
  • Computer Literate and versed in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent Organizational and Supervisory skills
  • Practical accounting experience (an asset)
  • Attentive to detail
  • Can operate in an agile environment
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented approach to work
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver against competing priorities
  • Ability to strive in a fast-paced and demanding service environment
  • Must demonstrate initiative in problem solving, decision making and proactive approach to job
