This position is geared towards operation of an Ecoimpact collection vehicle as a Driver that collects used vegetable oil from suppliers throughout Trinidad and Tobago. The position requires good communication, planning, organization and leadership skills. Essential duties include management of designated vehicle, planning of collection route for efficient collections, maintaining relationships with current suppliers, procuring new suppliers, checking of collection vehicle to make sure that the vehicle is in a road worthy condition and reporting any issues to Management. Drivers must adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures and obey all driving/traffic regulations; and must report any issues that arise promptly to Management.
This position reports to the General Manager directly.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Checking of vehicle daily to ensure that the vehicle is road worthy and report any defects to management.
Collection of used vegetable oil from suppliers in your designated area.
Procurement of new suppliers and maintenance of current supplier’s relationships.
Awareness on the road to ensure you are driving in a safe and courteous manner, so as not to cause harm or injury to self, others, or property.
Ensure entries into collections books are to be completed after each stop to account for all supplier visits/collections.
Loading of used vegetable oil at supplier locations and off-loading at base.
Cleaning of collections area after off-loading of used vegetable oil.
Management of company vehicle to make sure vehicle is refueled, cleaned and maintained at a satisfactory standard.
Completion of Secondary School
Ability to read and write and understand instructions

Ability to communicate well
Experience in Driving
1. 2-3 years’ experience with manual vehicles
2. Ability to multitask well
3. Comprehensive knowledge of the geography of Trinidad and Tobago
Light-T Driving Permit
