Hadco Limited is looking for a Finance Clerk.

 

 

JOB SUMMARY

 Provide assistance in all aspects under Finance – Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury and Cash Administration.

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

This position reports to the Group Chief Financial Officer & Group Finance Manager.

 

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Entering of invoices
  • Reconciling of statements
  • Payments to suppliers
  • Following up on payments from customers
  • Credit Applications
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Reconciling utilities i.e. TSTT/FLOW/UNIPET
  • FX Purchasing
  • Petty Cash Disbursement
  • Deposits to Bank accounts
  • Assists with reports in the various sections of Finance
  • Any other duties assigned by the Manager

 

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Any other duties as assigned by Management that may be deemed necessary for the effective functioning of the department.

  12. Reporting the taking of any medication while on the workplace to their Supervisor.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. 3 CXC O’Level Passes
  2. Previous Experience in an Accounting environment

 

REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

  1. 5 CXC O’ Level Passes
  2. 2-3 years’ experience in an Accounting Department
  3. Pleasant Disposition and well-mannered

 

PREFERRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
  2. Ability to Multitask well.
  3. Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

  1. Certificate of Character

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

An office environment where work is primarily sedentary in nature, no special demands are required. Physical activity, though varied is very limited.
