JOB SUMMARY

 This role’s primary function is to work with the Corporate Communications Department and the Marketing Department as needed to create engaging, relevant and on-brand graphics for a variety of platforms and layout of the company’s newsletters and ads.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Designing graphics for Social Media Platforms, Websites, Advertisements, Newsletters, Newspapers, Marketing Materials, and other Digital Media
• Preparation of flyers for Social Media, Digital and other platforms
• Layout of the company’s monthly, bi-annual and annual newsletters
• Designing templates for new invoices, purchase orders, inventory sheets, letterheads etc.
• Studying design briefs and determining requirements.
• Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements.
• Preparing rough drafts and presenting ideas.
• Developing illustrations, logos and other designs.
• Using the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic.
• Working with the Corporate Communications and Marketing teams as necessary to produce final design.
• Amending designs after feedback.
• Ensuring that final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
• Assisting in creating content for social media along with the Corporate Communications Team

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performing other reasonable duties that may be required to develop and enrich the performance of the company.

• Observing good housekeeping practice.
• Reporting the taking of any medication while on the workplace to their Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• First Degree in Visual Arts/Graphic Design field
• 1-2 years’ experience in similar capacity
• Computer literate with knowledge of various graphic design software
