A Heavy Equipment Mechanic is primarily responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of heavy equipment. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic analyzes malfunctions and repairs, rebuilds and maintains power equipment, such as Heavy T and Light T repairs, Fork Lift Repairs, Process & Plant Equipment, General Factory Maintenance and Repairs, Repair Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulics, compressors and pneumatic tools.
Required but not necessary:
Professional Licensed / Specialized Training in Construction Management, and/or
At least five (5) years’ experience as a skilled automotive mechanic, including some experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy duty construction equipment.
