Ensure development, implementation and maintenance of the Company’s integrated Management Systems (Health, Safety, Security Environment and Asset Integrity).
Ensure there is continuous improvement of all Management Systems Process and supporting documentation.
Ensure compliance with all applicable OSH and Environmental legislations and other relevant regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with all reporting requirements to the relevant authorities; maintains liaisons with external organizations and perform related duties as assigned.
Ensure proper techniques are used for identifying hazards, assessing health, safety and environmental risks and recommending risk control measures.
Conduct monthly visits to Company areas and businesses, such as the Transport Division and Service Stations within the Unipet Network, to ensure compliance by employees, dealers, customers, contractors and visitors in relation to health, safety and environmental standards/regulations.
Ensure proper Root Cause Analysis Technique is employed when investigating incidents/accidents and unsafe working conditions and recommending corrective actions.
Identify the company’s (Unipet/Subsidiaries; Dealers and Contractors where required) HSEQ training needs; and develop and implement a training matrix with proper tracking/monitoring.
Maintain all HSE Systems to ensure the renewal of STOW certification.
Provide high visibility in leading and promoting safe working culture throughout the network.
Participate in quality reporting and management review process.
Ensure the department metrics are implemented and monitored to ensure it meets the company’s strategic initiatives/objectives.
Develop and implement a Security Plan to ensure the protection of resources and assets throughout the Network.
