JOB DESCRIPTION

HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER

 

The individual will be required to provide timely and efficient professional/administrative support to the Human Resources Manager with respect to all Human Resource Management functions.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the screening job applicants and conduct follow-up recruitment activities
  • Assist with Orientation after recruiting and selection.
  • Assist in the design, development and conduct of new, recently promoted and re-deployed employees’ orientation
  • Assist the Human Resource Manager in assessing the training needs of staff and in coordinating, conducting and training
  • Assist with employee relations, mediating and resolving disputes.
  • Assist with performance management systems, ensuring all documents are submitted in a timely manner
  • Provide efficient and professional human resource support services to ensure that the HR team addresses customer needs, concerns and queries timely and in confidence
  • To provide administrative support to the Manager-Human Resources
  • Assist with IR related matters, ensuring compliance with Labor Laws
  • Any other matters/duties as assigned by the HR Manager

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office software

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree or Associate degree in Human Resource Management, Social Science or its equivalent
  • Experience in HRM approaches and techniques
