Overview:

To provide higher technical support in Planning, optimization, and ISP Operations, Support Operations of NOC and other operations teams with regards to ISP/MPLS infrastructure and operations


What You Will Do

  1. Manage NOC business technical support teams regards to business datacom services and escalate to vendors the major issues.
  2. Execute configuration changes and software issues fixes, Routers, Operating Systems, Network Inventory management, and network OSS Systems.
  3. Responsible for SLAs, Service KPIs & KQI assurance, best performance on all Network infrastructure NEs
  4. Validate new service delivery for customers, and ensure matching KPIs requested, and all monitoring and reporting reflected in OSS systems.
  5. Supervise proactively perform corrective maintenance for ISP/MPLS, Access (xDSL, GPoN) network.
  6. Work with Fixed Network development, and operations, BRAS, AAA, PCRF, DPI.
  7. Review network design highlight issues and recommend for fixes.
  8. Review and evaluate technical documents related to Business services that are done best practices on network.
  9. Work with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the policies, procedures, systems and frameworks applicable are followed properly to ensure the unit operates efficiently.
  10. Benchmark business operations and performance against best class service providers worldwide.
  11. Monitor network capacity and ensure timely planning of new requirements and prepare the required technical capacity requirement, and support in RFI and RFP.
  12. Review and update the network documentation covering the drawings, technical documents and as-built documents.
  13. Manage troubleshooting, maintenance (reactive, and Proactive) implemented, and ensure high availability for all services.
  14. Interface with Enterprise business team on IP Product support.
  15. Interface with clients to understand their IP requirements, or issues when required.
  16. Project delivery and maintenance, including network design and commissioning.
  17. Knowledge of Router, Switch, Firewall.
  18. Lead medium to large size teams, assist the design effective solutions to meet customer’s requirements, perform advance troubleshooting.
  19. Support staff development and provide guidance to them.
  20. Obtain customer change requirement for current network, write the RFC (Request for Change) with MOP and check with R&D.
  21. Execute the configuration according to the MOP.
  22. Preparing weekly reports on project and maintenance updates.

  •  Position requirements
    Basic Requirements Education background Professional qualification preferred – B.Sc in Electrical Engineering/Telecommunications, Computer Science or any relevant degree.
    Work experience 5+ years of relevant IP Network, Datacom in telecommunication.

    1-2 years of experience in supporting Linux, Mysql/oracle databases, network OSS.

    Professional certifications from third parties (optional) At least CCIP or HCIP certification required.

    CCIE or HCIE certification will be an asset

    Professional Knowledge Professional knowledge &Technologies ·         Router, Switch, Firewall

    ·         Proficient in all of the following protocols: IGP、BGP、MPLS、VPN

    ·         Proficient in at least professional one of the below solutions: IPRAN/IPCORE/MetroEthernet/IPv6/DC/Security

    ·         At least 5 years’ experience on IP network deployment, and at least 2 years solution design experience

    ·         Leading technical solution deployment more than 2 projects

    Key Skillset Personal Skills ·           Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively and regularly up to the technical management level of customer and internal management level

    ·           Good English communication skill in both written and oral

    ·           Interpersonal sensitivity and responsiveness to customers.
