LOCAL SALES MANAGER
Design and implement a strategic Business Plan that expands the Company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.
To establish goals to ensure share of market and profitability of products and/or services.
To develop and execute sales plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of company products and/or services.
To research, analyze and monitor financial, technological and demographic factors, so that market opportunities may be capitalized on, and the effects of competitive activity may be minimized.
To develop/recommend pricing strategy for the organization to grasp the greatest share of the market over a long-term period.
To achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and share of market performance in relation to pre-set standards and to general and specific trends within the industry and the economy.
To evaluate market reactions to advertising programs, merchandising policy, and product packaging and formulation to ensure the timely adjustment or marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
To recommend changes in basic structure and organization of sales/marketing group to ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives assigned and provide the flexibility to move swiftly in relation to sales/marketing problems and opportunities.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience
Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
Experience in managing and directing a sales team.
Strong Leadership and Managerial skills
Excellent Sales and Negotiations skills
Excellent planning, communication and organizational skills
Excellent understanding of logistics
A valid Class 4 (Heavy T) permit would be an asset.
