LOCAL SALES MANAGER

 

Job Description:

  • Design and implement a strategic Business Plan that expands the Company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.
  • To establish goals to ensure share of market and profitability of products and/or services.
  • To develop and execute sales plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of company products and/or services.
  • To research, analyze and monitor financial, technological and demographic factors, so that market opportunities may be capitalized on, and the effects of competitive activity may be minimized.
  • To develop/recommend pricing strategy for the organization to grasp the greatest share of the market over a long-term period.
  • To achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and share of market performance in relation to pre-set standards and to general and specific trends within the industry and the economy.
  • To evaluate market reactions to advertising programs, merchandising policy, and product packaging and formulation to ensure the timely adjustment or marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • To recommend changes in basic structure and organization of sales/marketing group to ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives assigned and provide the flexibility to move swiftly in relation to sales/marketing problems and opportunities.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Experience in managing and directing a sales team.
  • Strong Leadership and Managerial skills
  • Excellent Sales and Negotiations skills
  • Excellent planning, communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent understanding of logistics
  • A valid Class 4 (Heavy T) permit would be an asset.
