To assist in the safe and accurate collection and delivery of the Company’s petrochemical products.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Utilize Company and designated location specific procedures in the proper loading and off-loading of petrochemical products.
Direct the Petrochemical Driver in the safe positioning of the vehicle when required.
Inspect the environment before petrochemical product is discharged, to ensure the safety of the operation.
Verify petrochemical product quantities received and discharged at Company designated locations.
Verify petrochemical product quality received and discharged at Company designated locations as per Company’s procedures.
Report any inconsistencies that are detected in the quality or quantity of petrochemical product received or discharged to the Petrochemical Driver.
Assist in responding to uncontrolled environmental discharge (g. spills, gas release, etc.) in the loading and off-loading of petrochemical product, in accordance with Company’s procedures.
Assist the Petrochemical Driver in securing the completion of relevant paper work.
Assist the Petrochemical Driver, in ensuring that petrochemical product measuring devices, such as rods and meters, are cleaned on a daily basis, kept defect free and properly calibrated.
Assist the Petrochemical Driver in mobile phone communication while in transit.
Assist the Petrochemical Driver in carrying out daily and weekly maintenance checks on the assigned vehicle.
Assist the Petrochemical Driver in maintaining the assigned vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness as a mobile advertisement of the standard of service available from the Company.
Assist the Petrochemical Driver in ensuring that equipment and materials on the vehicle, as identified in the daily maintenance checks, are properly secured and protected where necessary, from the weather, potential damage and theft.
Report of irregularities observed in the operations of any parties in the Supply Chain to Company designated authorities.
Avoid the willful mis-use or reckless use of the Company’s assets.
ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of three O’Levels including Mathematics and English.
Knowledge of the local regulations, in particular the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Act, as evidenced by possession of a valid Trinidad and Tobago Driver’s Permit.
