Job Summary: Responsible for cutting, trimming and preparing / packaging meats.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring the proper stacking of meat products.
Ensuring that all meat products are in compliance with the store’s standards.
Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of the work areas and equipment that is used for cutting.
Appropriately cleaning, cutting, weighing and packaging meat products.
Reporting the procurement of sub-standard products or damages to the supervisor.
Required to unload meat from delivery truck and store into blast freezer.
Required to cut, wrap and weigh meats for customers.
Minimum Requirements
Two (2) years’ experience in cutting meats – using an electronic meat saw.
