Job Summary:  Responsible for cutting, trimming and preparing / packaging meats.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the proper stacking of meat products.
  • Ensuring that all meat products are in compliance with the store’s standards.
  • Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of the work areas and equipment that is used for cutting.
  • Appropriately cleaning, cutting, weighing and packaging meat products.
  • Reporting the procurement of sub-standard products or damages to the supervisor.
  • Required to unload meat from delivery truck and store into blast freezer.
  • Required to cut, wrap and weigh meats for customers.

 

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Two (2) years’ experience in cutting meats – using an electronic meat saw.
  • Two (2) work references.
  • One (1) Passport size photo
  • One (1) valid photo ID
  • Active Bank Account
  • Police Certificate of Character
