Vacancy: Personal Assistant
Area: Marabella

Reporting line: Reports directly to the Director
Level: Position requires maturity, work experience, ownership of a proper vehicle
Salary: $5,000.00  per month
Vehicle upkeep: $5,000.00 each year
Gas: Reimbursement of gas whenever driving duties are performed
Male and female candidates are invited to apply  
Duration: Two (2) year contract with opportunity to renew
Working Hours: 8am – 5pm (Monday to Friday)

 

Candidates living in Marabella, San Fernando and nearby environs will be preferred

 

Duties include:

  • Conducting personal and work errands for the Director
  • Assisting in the neat preparation of confidential documents
  • Creating, maintaining and updating files
  • Maintaining data soft and hard copy
  • Note – taking and data entry
  • Preparation of letters, must know how to write, format, save, print and post letters
  • Conducting online searches
  • Verification of information via email and telephone
  • Preparing reports
  • Duties on the field when necessary
  • Driving and running errands
  • Reporting to the Director or his delegate
  • Making phones calls, copies, scanning, binding and filing of documents
  • Maintaining linkages with external stakeholders under the direction of the Director
  • Working offsite with Consultants, Attorneys et.al.
  • Other confidential and administrative duties as prescribed by the Administrative Manager

  • Must be available to work online after the working day (paid additionally)
  • Must be able to work on either a Saturday or Sunday from on occasion to meet deadlines either online/remotely or physically to complete deadlines

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to perform secretarial duties, take notes, type emails and follow instructions
  • Excellent Driver with a minimum of five (5) years driving experience.

 

Minimum requirements:

  • Grade 1’s or 2’s in English A (CSEC), Mathematics (CSEC), Electronic Document Preparation and Management (CSEC), Information Technology or equivalent combination of experience and qualification
  • High proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Knowledge of other programmes will be an asset
  • Any additional qualification that can increase your ability to deliver
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to learn
  • Ability to drive and owns his/her vehicle a requirement
  • Some knowledge of graphic art
  • Excellent Driver with a minimum of five (5) years driving experience.
  • Ownership of a vehicle in good working condition
  • Two (2) written and signed recommendations/character references from either from previous secondary school teachers, church leaders, community police or principal (Mandatory) and a copy of your ID Card
  • Attach copies of original certificates (Mandatory)
