In compliance with the prevailing local public procurement legislation, plans and procures the supplies, equipment, materials and services (including consulting services) required and implements organizational Procurement Policy and Procedures in order to optimize the value of such purchases for the Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards (TTBS).
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Project Management or Business Administration (with core courses in procurement/supply chain management) or a related field from a recognized University.
Training as evidenced by the possession of a Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Advanced Diploma or the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) Certified Professional in Supply Management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least five years work experience performing procurement duties in a supervisory level position. Familiarity with the public sector procurement regulations.
