Overview

Direct, Manage and Lead  the respective teams to develop, implement and administer the organization’s financial system in accordance with the strategies defined by Caribbean /Corporate IT and Regional Finance in order to deliver data analytics for reporting and effective business decision making to maximize business results across the Caribbean.

What You Will Do

1. Develop/Implement new finance systems procedures and identify areas where training is needed. To ensure changes/upgrades work seamlessly with other functional areas of business.
2. Partner/Collaborate with the various stakeholders to plan, manage and design testing and implementation of financial systems and subsystems. To ensure alignment of business goals with technological and financial solutions.
3. Manage/Lead complex accounting functions such as account reconciliation, complex analysis and financial reporting. In order to provide analysis of business trends to support strategic initiatives and direction.
4. Review /Analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing financial systems, and projects with respect to technical projects to ensure consistency and full integration of Financial systems. To improve business process effectiveness and efficiency.
5. Coordinate/Perform In-depth tests for end-user reviews, modified and new financial system processes and/or systems as well as other post-implementation support. To ensure data integrity, accuracy and cleanliness, provide new insights to drive decision-making for enhanced Return On Investment (ROI).
6. Lead/Drive developing strategies for improving or further leveraging finance systems including interfaces between systems. To ensure stakeholders use insights provided to take decisive actions to improve business results across the region.

Education and Experience

• ACCA or Masters Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Certificate in Project Management
• 5 years of experience in a computerized accounting environment
• Experienced in change management as it relates to Finance
• Experience in management systems, at least two years.
• Experience in the incident and change management processes
• Experience with supporting multi-tier infrastructures
