The Researcher is responsible for conducting market research at the macro and micro levels. Also responsible for research,preparation, sales and update of publications.
What You Will Do
Conduct research for projects and collate labour market and socioeconomic information pertinent to the needs of the organisation.
Receive, investigate and respond to queries for compensation and other workplace or labour market data, inclusive of administering appropriate survey instruments/methodologies and producing client reports.
Write reports on the analysis of general labour market information including workforce size, age ,wage and sector.
Fill customer orders for publications by copying, collating, binding, packaging and invoicing, as needed.
Develop research proposals as directed.
Critically assess existing publications, submit recommendations and lead the update, expansion and improvement and the creation of new publications.
Maintain stock of publications, including making recommendations for re-ordering as needed.
Perform additional research duties from time to time.
A bachelor degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, such as economics, development studies, library sciences/research, political science or social science.
