Galt & Littlepage Sales Executive Job Description

Galt & Littlepage Ltd. is a dynamic office furniture & Supplies company, has an outstanding opportunity for a self-motivated, confident, assertive, highly motivated, high energy, disciplined, passionate person to fill the position of Sales or commercial office furniture.

The successful candidate will be a true hunter, bringing contacts, networking skills and potential business as they begin this new and exciting opportunity. Their primary role will be to develop new customers by providing quick response to customer needs with cost‐effective, high quality furniture and related service solutions. In addition, their role will be to increase sales/gross profit on new accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new furniture sales opportunities and manage the day to day relationship with existing clients.
  • Develop new clients by attending networking activities and by actively seeking referral business.
  • Proactively work leads.
  • Prospect to find new account opportunities with emphasis on accounts with 50 or more employees.
  • Drive sales and profitability by leading the development of creative and innovative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Develop business relationships with various influencers to identify potential opportunities early.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Interior Designer, etc. to meet functional, aesthetic and budgetary requirements.
  • Develop local business relationships with various influencers (real estate brokers, contractors, end users, etc.) to identify potential opportunities early
  • Constantly and consistently be prospecting to build, fill, and manage your pipeline.
  • Develop account plans with existing accounts that maximize penetration and retention.
  • Develop strategies for improved sales growth.
  • Be proactive in finding and closing business
  • Create a customer base through cold calling, emails, networking, social media, etc.
  • Work with administrative and design staff to execute installed projects
  • Ability to accurately forecast upcoming sales.

Required Education:

  • BS/BA Degree

 

Required Experience:

  • Age 25 year or older
  • Minimum 1 year experience in sales
  • Experience in the office interior and supplies industry will be an asset
  • Experience with pipeline management or CRM software will be an asset: 1 year
  • Experience in Auto CAD software would be an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office Suites and Internet Research
