FOOD SERVICE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Degree holder with at least 2 years of sales or key account management experience.
• Experience within the FMCG in the supermarket industry
• Independent, self-motivator and determine to succeed in a challenging environment.
• Proficient in MS office suite.
• Good written/ Oral, communication, and interpersonal skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• MAINTAIN and GROW accounts of customers within the Supermarket / Restaurant/ Food Industry
• Candidates will be required to work with all necessary persons, authorities and stakeholders to meet customer needs and meet sales goals, including but not limited to onsite visits, discount initiatives, and engaging in promotional activities.
• Perform regular and continuous market research to stay abreast of current market conditions and changing customer trends.
•  Complete and maintain accurate portfolio sales records and sales forecasts.
• Provide management with daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales updates.
• Maintain customer info and ensure data is up to date and accurate.
• Attend in Sales meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives and other assigned actions.
• Conduct regular customer satisfaction calls.
• Ensure customer payments are collected and their accounts are up to date.

• Ensures that the company’s products are prominently displayed in retail customer outlets.
• Ensures that products are accurately priced, that stock is rotated, and expiry dates are monitored in accordance with approved schedules.
• Installs point of purchase material as required.
• Identifies sales opportunities.
• Aggressively pursues additional opportunities for optimum space utilization and product placement.
• Communicates with the relevant Manager if goods have not been delivered to any outlet under their responsibility.

 Must possess:

• Creative instinct with ability to “think outside of the box”
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must possess a driver’s license and working vehicle.
• A citizen of Trinidad & Tobago.
