SCAFFOLDING WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

An employer confidential requires a Scaffolding Warehouse Supervisor with the experience, knowledge and abilities to direct the issuance of scaffold materials, receiving of scaffold materials returned from jobs, storage, managing inventory levels, and ensuring the efficient delivery of materials.  The incumbent will have responsibility for overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities, supervising staff, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of materials, and preparing relevant reports, documentation and securing the warehouse.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan work schedules, assign task appropriately and appraise results.
  • Maintain the physical condition of scaffold warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
  • Maintain the efficient logistical movement of inventory by initiating, coordinating and enforcing procedure.
  • Ensure the reconciliation of inventory, make recommendations to order new scaffold material maintaining suitable inventory levels, and record damaged and re-usable inventory.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reconciliation of outbound and inbound changes to inventory via the approved forms and related documentation (verify orders by jobs going out, verify returns by job).
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Produce reports inclusive of statistical reports that address IN/OUT inventory, issuance and return reports, inspected and damaged inventory.
  • Communicate clearly with Divisional Managers and Executive Management on inventory discrepancies.
  • Authorize and coordinating the equipment used in preparation of deliveries and returns of materials on completion of jobs.
  • Ensure all HSE guidelines are followed and risk assessments are carried out throughout the areas of responsibility.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma will be considered, qualifications in Warehouse Operations, logistics or related discipline will be an asset.
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a supervisor capacity in warehousing, inventory management, logistics or related field.
  • A dependable Team Leader with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
