SOCIAL MEDIA AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT AGENT

 

Job Purpose

The incumbent is responsible for responding to customer queries via the Company’s Social Media platforms, phone and emails.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engages customers by posting messages, responding to questions and discussions on company’s products and services within 24 hours.
  • Resolves complaints received via all company Social Media platforms and escalates to the relevant Departmental Managers when necessary.
  • Maintains awareness of Social Media trends and how it can be used to increase awareness of the company’s products and services.
  • Responds to customers request for information including pricing, product features and availability of products within 24 hours.
  • Processes orders from customers including those received via fax, email, telephone and Sale Representatives.
  • Prepares invoices and quotations.
  • Handles Customer Complaints/Issues.
  • Logs and categorizes customers’ queries/complaints/requests.
  • Develops and maintains Customer Relations through active Call Out Campaigns and Social Media interactions.
  • Prepares reports.
  • Any other related responsibilities assigned by Management.

 

Academic Qualifications, Experience and Soft Skills

  • Five (5) CXC or GCE O’ Level passes inclusive of English Language and Mathematics.
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in the field of Customer Service specifically call centre and/or social media interactive marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of applications. Knowledge of all social media platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Team Oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimum supervision.
