ROLE: Teacher 

SUBJECT AREAS: Mathematics, Economics, Principles of Accounts, Additional Math, Physics

KEY FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES 

• Preparing lessons, units and projects to complete learning objectives in the respective subject areas 
• Establishing and communicating clear objectives for lessons, units and projects
• Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of students
• Encouraging students to explore learning opportunities and career paths
• Creating, assigning and grading various assessments for students, including tests, quizzes, essays and projects
• tracking and evaluating student academic progress
• Maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, coworkers and supervisors
• Managing student behaviour
• Creating a safe, respectful and inclusive classroom environment
• Communicating regularly with parents
• Helping students improve study methods and habits
• Administering tests to evaluate students’ progress

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• At least 3 A’ level subjects
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject areas  

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES 

• Ability to work on own initiative and without constant supervision
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism at all times
