Position Summary
This entry level Operator position resides within the Production department and is responsible for performing simple routine jobs under the direction and supervision of senior personnel, while contributing to the efficient and safe operation of the plant. Initially, emphasis will be placed on training and development and any other site operational support in preparation for the commercialization of the Facility.
Duties include, but are not limited to:- Monitoring, controlling, and recording plant operations and equipment and reporting any non-normal conditions; monitors non-critical plant equipment e.g Utilities, small pumps and fans; participates in taking plant samples for lab analysis and conducts simple plant surveys under the supervision of Senior Operators. The position will also be required to perform routine operation of basic control systems and devices to monitor levels, temperatures, pressures and flow rates.
