Royal Castle Limited is seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
∙ Identifies training and development needs within the organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and/or through frequent consultation with the Human Resource Manager, and other management personnel.
∙ Assists in the completion of annual Training Plans for the organization. ∙ Creates and delivers a range of training materials and workshops using face to face, digital and blended options, tailored to the various departments and job functions.
∙ Engages and contracts other Subject Matter Experts to complete training programs, in specific technical areas, where required.
∙ Prepares estimates of the costs of training programs and maintains expenses within the budget.
∙ Liaises with Management on completed training and facilitates follow up sessions to gauge the effectiveness of training programs on employee’s behaviour/performance.
∙ Devises individual learning plans and assists in conducting employee skills evaluations.
∙ Develops effective induction programs for new management and staff. ∙ Maintains and updates employees’ training records.
∙ Organizes training including reviewing the list of participants, distribution of materials for training, monitoring trainees in training as well as supporting Trainers with training sessions, as required.

Knowledge:
∙ Instructional design, learning theories and training methodologies ∙ Microsoft Office Suite
∙ Advanced organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to:
∙ Present effectively with the ability to engage and motivate Trainees ∙ Develop and maintain good working relationships
∙ Efficiently manage time while working in a fast paced and dynamic environment ∙ Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization (written and oral) ∙ Work well under pressure
∙ Think strategically and proactively solve problems
∙ Multi-task while maintaining efficiency
∙ Work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
∙ Minimum qualification of an undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or other equivalent certification OR
∙ A combination of relevant experience and qualifications
∙ A minimum of five (5) years’ progressive Human Resources experience in a similar role for a medium to large organization
∙ Restaurant experience would be considered an asset
