An employer confidential requires a Warehouse Team Lead with the experience, knowledge and abilities to direct the receipt of goods, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of mechanical and safety products:

WAREHOUSE TEAM LEAD

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the inbound receipt, ordering, assembly and dispatch of products to ensure inventory replenishment requirements are met across all Divisions.
• Ensure inventory management plans are achieved through continuous perpetual inventory checking (PI).
• Assist Divisional Managers with planning future capacity requirements.
• Plan work schedules, assign task appropriately and appraise results.
• Maintain the physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
• Maintain the efficient logistical movement of inventory by initiating, coordinating and enforcing procedure.
• Ensure the reconciliation of inventory, including aged inventory, inventory rotation, damaged stock and stock holding levels.
• Ensure the accuracy and reconciliation of outbound and inbound changes to inventory via the TMA (software) and related documentation.
• Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Produce reports inclusive of statistical reports that address IN/OUT inventory, dead stock reports and damaged inventory.
• Communicate clearly with Divisional Managers and Executive Management on inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure all HSE guidelines are followed and risk assessments are carried out throughout the areas of responsibility.
• Ensure the proper management of all waste packaging.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Appropriate qualifications in supply chain management, business management, logistics or related discipline.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a supervisor capacity in warehousing, inventory management, logistics or related field.
